Review: The Opilio crab season has began and as usual it started the worse way possible.

Egar from the Northwestern has being saying for years that he was going to leave his job as deckboss because he started very young and it was time to retire, and last year really said he was going to leave but this season in the king crab season but didn't, but now his bluff, was no more because in this opilio crab season he didn't come back and just showed everyone the ropes in the Northwestern and it was time that Jake step up the plate as Deckboss,

In the Cornelia Marie Jake and Josh hired another captain an old friend of his deceased father and good friend of them too and he did what was needed and got the quota that they needed.

In the Wizard captain Keith was under pressure from the banks because he was in debt but caught enough opilio crab to put him back on his foot.

And that's fishing in the bering sea to you guys.

Review: "The Darkest Hour", it's the kind of movie that doesn't make any sense, it starts showing us 2 friends who own a company together, one of them is the brains the other the party boy, but also intelligent on their way to mother Russia.

When they went to a club something happens, they see lights coming up from the sky, telling us that Earth is being invaded by aliens made of light that evaporate people when they touch it.

They survive being the club basement for a few days before they go outside to see if the so called aliens have left earth. They see that they didn't leave and try to survive at all cost trying to figure out a way to stop them, showing us mean while the love between the characters and some girls they met at the club.

I personally didn't see a great movie because many things were left to explain, a lot, but it's a good movie to watch.

Review: This season 7 of deadliest catch was a little slow, because everything as usual so there is nothing much to say about it.

All the boats began stacking the pots on board, checking the systems and all the equipment necessary to begin the fishing. With that many boats left to fish others had to stay to fix everything before the season begins.

In the Cornelia Marie Josh and Jack now owners of the boat hired a captain because their dad passed away a few months earlier, a captain that didn't do very well fishing, his mistake was to fish blue crab, which is a rare crab harder to fish but that was his decision when the crew all they wanted was to make money easy and go home after, that was an impossible situation so they had to abort the fishing and head home because their fishing wasn't good enough to pay for the expenses of the enormous boat.

This season we are presented to 2 new boats, Ramblin Rose and Seabrooke.

The Ramblin Rose his fishing with a new skipper and has never fished as a captain of a boat, and Seabrooke his already an experient fishing vessel.

Time Bandit is business as usual and the wizard too just with a beat of fresh blood in the boat.

Review: "A Serbian Film" was released in 2010 but I have never watched it, but I heard about it, all of my friends were talking about an awful, disgusting movie that it is back in 2010 but I never got the curiosity to watch it until now, March 2012. My friend told me again about this movie this week and when I got home I had do watch it so I did.

The movie is a masterpiece, the script is absolutely amazing it's something from another world, the director of the movie made this film for the very first time, and I got to say that he did a wonderful job.

Yes, the movie has some disgusting scenes but that's not something that it's going to affect the storyline or anything it's simply great nothing else to say here. So watch it don't be afraid and you are going to enjoy it.

Review: Another season and another opilio crab season in this deadliest catch season 6.

This opilio crab season was one of the best (not in a good way) because a lot happen in this season.

We all know that captain Phil Harris was a very unhealthy person from his heavy tobacco smoking and high blood pressure and stress. 11 months earlier he had a clot that came from his leg and went into his heart and then stopped at the lungs, the doctors said that it was a miracle that he survived when it went through his heart. He had a surgery that removed that clot and he was fine for a heart but wasn't fishing.

In this opilio crab season he had another clot that stopped blood flow to his head and consequently made him have a stroke parilising his left side of the body but he survived the stroke really lucky. Bad news, 2 months later another stroke this one he didn't survived!!!.

I got to say it is really sad to see all that and you should watch this season for sure.

Review: The Vow, well to me it's just another romantic movie to see on a Friday night or a Sunday. The movie starts showing a couple in love Leo and Paige, their love is so cheesy that almost made me trow up. The show them in the car trying to preform the act of love, when a truck slips in the ice and hits their car which makes them hit a pole, Leo was with his seat beat so nothing happen to him while Paige wasn't and flew throw the windshield putting her in a coma.

After Paige woke up from the come she couldn't remember anything not even her husband and how she fell in love with him.

So Leo tries everything to make her remember how much he loves her, and how much she means to him.

But they just kept dragging the story so much that it became so boring and long to watch. I got to say that I thought the movie was better, the advertasing made the movie look like the Notebook. Well and the end was a happy ending with Leo and Paige together.

Review: Another season and another king crab season in this dealiest catch season 6.

The fishing couldn't start the worst way, what I mean by this is that before the season stated keith from The Wizard tried to recruit a Time Bandit deckhand so John Hillstrand got really mad and when all the captains joined together he confronted Keith that's were things got heated he pushed keith into the groubnd when he tried to bad mouthing keiths brother.

After that incident Phil from the Cornelia marie and Sig from the Northwestern decided that they should trade a deckhand jake went to the Cornelia marie and Phil's son went to the Northwestern.

The hard part was when they traded them back they putted them on a survival suit and put them in the freezing water a place no man wants to be and the other boat catched him with the craine.

The rest of the season went as usual as the other seasons with a few set backs.

Review: This second half of the season 5 of deadliest catch focus on the opilio crab season. It's the most deadliest fishing than the king crab season, and you need to be very good at your job otherwise you won't be coming home to your family.

It began your an horrible accident where the crew from The Wizard were trying to cover the pots so they don't ice and make the boat heavier that's when a gigantic wave struck the boat and the crew. Keith the captain was so worried about the crew that after seeing the state of them ran into Dutch Harbor for them to receive medical help.

His brother had a couple of broken ribs so he couldn't go on the trip and he had the idea of hiring his former deckhand Lynn.

Another shocking moment was when Sig Hansen the captain from the Northwestern received a call in Jake's behalf telling him the Jake's sister as died from a prolong illness, very shocking moment to be it was and tears came from my eyes.

I watched the movie in the theater and the all the movie was so lame until it got into the end where bella was so skinny, it was horrible. 

It was a very emotional moment where I couldn't hide my emotions, really sad.

Review: I began watching this show about 2 weeks ago since it's first season and I have to say that I became addicted to it. The difficulties that the fishermen pass in a day to day bases is thrilling and scary since it's the deadliest job in the world and you can see that if you watch the show.

Since I'm late to review the other seasons I'm going to start with this season 5 the current one that I'm watching.

In this season 5, was the best king crab season for one and the worst for others. 

The crew for Discovery Channel follow the best 4 boats of the fleet, which are Northwestern, Time Bandit, The Wizard, Cornelia Marie.

At the begining of the season Phil the captain from the Cornelia Marie boat received a call from his doctor saying that he could go fishing because he still had some blood clot and had to be guarded 24 hour a day, so he left the boat in charge to his most experience deckhand.

The season in the Cornelia Marie didn't go as planned and in the offload there were too many crab dead because they spent to much time in the boat.

In the Time Bandit they beated the record and made in to offload 8 days earlier than expected.

In the Wizard the Captain received some good news, because of his past habits with tobaco, he was afraid of having throat cancer but he was good. In regards of the crab not so good because they didn't buy enough bait to set the pots, then they were losing pots and the captain had to go under water to see what was going on and crippled himself by hitting his head on the boat but he made it out ok. But in the end he reached the quota without any dead crab.

The Northwestern is the best boat in the fleet at least to me it is and Sig Hansen his the best captain. He had some bad moments but than he found the crab filling his tanks all the way up. And his crew is the best including the greenhorn Jack.

Review: We Bought A Zoo, it's like a dream come true. While watching the movie I wished my family or my father was like Matt Damon character but that only happens in the movies. It's a movie based on a true story which makes it more interesting than ever, and I have to say that I'm a big fan of movies inspired on a true story like this one.

It tells the story of a father that lost is wife and now sees himself with a lot more responsibility, taking care of his children. He becomes depressed so he decides to get rid of everything including his own job and buys an antique zoo with no condition and turns it into a family zoo that people all over the USA wants to go.

Review: War Horse is a movie from the aclaimed director that all of us know  Mr Steven Spielberg from the 1st World War and for curiosity he's done also a movie from the 2nd World War that won a lot of oscars in 1998 Saving Private Ryan with Matt Damon.

This movie is aboutthe love between a young man and his horse since the first moment they layd eyes in each other. They were separated but the young boy tried everything in his power to be reunited with is horse, that's what the movies shows us with very emotional moments I got to say because tears came to my eyes.

Review: Jonah Hill does an horrible performance in this movie it has a lot of known actors but the movie sucks and I couldn't watch unit the end.

This year Jonah Hill was nominated for a golden globe and an oscar and it was a surprise to everyone, since all of his movies are comic movies and to tell you the truth his performance in the movie doesn't deserve all that nominations.

The sitter was another movie to fill sausages like I use to say and well if you want to see it do it on your own expenses.

And the best news is that Jason Lee is back! for this movie instead of Zachary Levi (Chuck), that's the only reason that I watched this movie.

The movie is set on a cruise that Dave takes, and brings the chipmunks with him, surprise to say that didn't go well!!!

Review: I was a little surprised about this movie, because in fact it's really good and that coming from Nicolas Cage in recent years is like a god send.

January Jones since she left the Mad Men series is being on fire, making more movies than I can tell, she made the incredible Unknown with Liam Neeson another fantastic actor, I recently  made a review about his movie The Grey don't miss it.

The movie is about a underground group that seeks revenge for you, which means that some one else that belongs to that group will kill the person who did wrong to you, so that the police can't charge you with anything.

If you think about it's an interesting way to take out from the street all the drug addicts, kid rapists, etc.

Review: When I watched the trailer I got to say that it's got to be the best movie that Gerard Butler has ever made after 300 of course.

Well this movie has some shocking scenes and I should tell you it's really horrifying what is happening in Uganda, Africa with the African children and Kony as their leader.

For talking about Kony, nowadays there is a movement trying to bring Kony down, facebook is all about Kony, and the guy who started the movement made a movie about it, i'm going to show it below

If you haven't watched the movie you should really do it and prepare yourself to be shocked and if you don't like what you see and decide to help do it.

Review: I was trying to prepare myself to see this movie for about 2 weeks than I finally got the nerve to watch it.

Let me tellyou I wasn't desapointed because the movie is just great, well at the time I was watching the movie I didn't know the cast but when I found out that Eddie Redmayne was in the movie I just couldn't miss this one. The nomination for an oscar was well put, the perfomance by Michelle Williams is breath taking.

If you haven't watch it, in my opinion you should really watch it.

Review: The Walking Dead has been the most acclaimed shows in cable television, the channel that is responsible for it is AMC which is being raising in the television world since Breaking Bad, Mad Men and most recently Hell On Wheels, The Killing, all are the biggest success of the channel but The Walking Dead is the show with the biggest ratings.

In these second season they decided to make  more episodes than season 1, 13 episodes, but they had to cut back on the budget because the show is too expensive to make with all the make-up, closing blocks in atlantic city, all that had to be cut back, including the show director which was fired because of all the cuts. He said he could make the show his way with that kind of budget.

I got to say that you can see all of that cuts in this second season starting with all the deaths of the characters and the moved from the city to the country side less zombies and less expensive, but the quality of the scripts are being measured and they passed! The show is simply amazing, Andrew Lincoln is showing how great an actor he is and how far the show can go if it stays on this path.

To finish my review I got to say that I agree!!!
